In order to be able to see my Dynamic Family Tree, please wait for the Tree Icon to appear, then click on it and wait for the database to be loaded.

As soon as this process is finished (give it a couple of seconds), a new window containing the actual tree will pop up and allow you to browse through the tree. Further explanations concerning the workings of the tree will be available in the help file there.

If you click on the flag icon in the toolbar, you will be able to select the language of your choice.

Um den Dynamischen Stammbaum zu erforschen, einfach auf das Bäumchen oben klicken und einen Moment warten, bis die Datenbank geladen ist.

Danach (kann einen Moment dauern) wird ein neues Fenster mit dem Stammbaum erscheinen, das mit Hilfe der Schaltflächen einfach durchsucht werden kann. Weitere Erklärungen finden sich in der Hilfe-datei.

Um die Sprache des Stammbaumes zu verändern, einfach auf das Flaggensymbol klicken.

You will find that in the family tree some of the names end with the NN-sign: This indicates that this person's last name is unknown.  Mostly, this is due to the fact that traditionally a woman takes on her husband’s last name and her maiden name is only mentioned in a marriage certificate that I have not been able to locate; in some cases, I have knowledge of the bride’s father’s first name, in these cases, a male could have a *-sign as well, but this is uncommon.

Sie werden feststellen, dass in diesem Stammbaum einige Namen mit einem NN-Zeichen versehen sind.  Dies zeigt an, dass der Nachname dieser Person unbekannt ist.  In den meisten Fällen handelt es sich um Mädchennamen verheirateter Frauen, die nur in einem mir nicht bekannten Hochzeitsregister vermeldet wurden; selten auch bei den Eltern der Braut, wenn der Name unleserlich oder unbekannt ist.

This family tree is being updated as you read this - a good genealogist never sleeps. But let's be serious for a minute. This whole project would not be possible without the help I received from a lot of people, thanks to all of you out there!

Der Stammbaum wird ständig bearbeitet und diese Seite auch regelmäßig erweitert und verbessert, denn ein guter Genealoge schläft nicht!  Aber mal im Ernst: dieses Projekt wäre ohne die Hilfe einer ganzen Reihe von Leuten unmöglich, deshalb ein herzliches Dankeschön an Euch alle!
